Coir Fiber Bedding, brick - 8 x 4 inch, 1/3 cubic foot expanded. A bedding product that is inexpensive to ship and economical to use. Coir Fiber is non toxic, high absorbent, odorless, and 100% natural product made from the process of harvesting coconuts. These compressed blocks of fiber will expand five times their compressed size. Coir will hold 10 times it's weight in water. Neutral to slightly acidic; pH is 5.2-6.8. Weed and pathogen free. Resists bacterial mold and fungal growth. Can be used moist or dry. When you are ready to change out substrate you simply recycle it into your garden.
